The concept of making available pre-written transcripts (narratives) of those who have served in the military services of their country was first conceived at the end of 2005. To facilitate those records, (Army, Navy, Air Force and Medical), reaching an international audience, a series of web-based, databases were designed which store and make available those histories for global distribution, to avoid the often confusing, more often expensive searches and analysis. We do it for you. The transcripts cover those who have served in any of the major international conflict between 1792 -1975.
Fifteen years later, the databases now include those who served during the Napoleonic Wars (1792-1815), the Anglo–Egyptian War (1882), the Sudan Campaign(1884-1899), Crimean War (1854-1856), US Civil War (1861-1865), Franco-Prusssian War (1870), Anglo-Zulu Campaign (1879), Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902), the Great War (1914-1918), World War II (1939-1945), Korean War (1950-1953) and the Vietnam War (1954-1975). Many of the databases mentioned above are currently available or will come online whe completed to suitable levels.
Others, to follow in the foreseeable future, are the American Wars of Independence (1812-1815), Second Ashanti War (1863-1864), First Boer War (1881), Fourth Ashanti War (1894), Boxer Rebellion (1899-1901), Malayasian-Indonesian Confrontaion (1963–66), and Malayan Insurgency (1968-1989). Undobtedly others will follw as history repeats itself.
